During the transformation process in the biogas plant, crude slurry undergoes a fundamental change; it no longer has acidic properties, the viscosity is reduced considerably and the nitrogen is transformed.
But what happens if there happens to be an excess of slurry? Until recently this situation could have posed quite serious problems, but now with the help of a dryer - BIO DRY - and by exploiting the excess heat in the cogenerators, the excess slurry can be transformed into a product which is highly valued on the fertiliser market.
